The 2026 Formula 1 season spans 24 Grands Prix across five continents, opening in Bahrain and concluding with the season finale in Abu Dhabi at Yas Marina Circuit. New for 2026, revised technical regulations introduce smaller, lighter cars with updated aerodynamic packages and a new hybrid power unit formula. Each race weekend follows a standard format: Practice sessions on Friday and Saturday, Qualifying on Saturday afternoon, and the Grand Prix on Sunday. Select rounds also feature a Sprint format.
