The F1 Comparison Tool lets you put any two 2026 drivers or constructors side by side and see exactly how their seasons compare. Select a driver pairing — say Max Verstappen vs Lewis Hamilton or Lando Norris vs Charles Leclerc — and the tool pulls live race-by-race data from the Jolpica F1 API to build a full season picture: total points, race wins, podiums, fastest laps, DNFs, and a point-by-point progression chart that shows exactly when each driver pulled ahead or fell behind.

Constructor comparisons show the combined championship points of both team drivers, making it easy to compare how Red Bull vs Ferrari or McLaren vs Mercedes are really performing across the full season rather than just a single race.

Reading the Points Progression Chart

The area chart plots cumulative championship points after each Grand Prix. A wider gap between the two lines means a larger points lead at that point in the season — either through consistent wins, better reliability, or points scored in sprint races. A crossing point in the lines marks a championship lead change.

The chart is especially useful for understanding how a points gap was built: did one driver dominate a specific run of circuits, or was it steady accumulation? Hover over each race marker to see the exact points total at that round.

Understanding the Radar Chart

The radar chart visualises performance across multiple dimensions simultaneously — wins, podiums, points per race, fastest laps, and consistency. A driver with a larger shaded area is outperforming across more categories. Two overlapping areas indicate close competition.

The radar is most useful for comparing styles of performance: a driver with high wins but low podiums is taking risks for victory or DNFing. A driver with high consistency but fewer wins is accumulating solid points without the dramatic peaks.

Where does the data come from?

Race results and standings are fetched live from the Jolpica F1 API, which reflects official FIA Formula 1 results. Data updates after each Grand Prix. This site is not affiliated with Formula 1 or the FIA.

Why does a driver show missing races?

Drivers who did not start (DNS), did not qualify, or joined mid-season as substitutes will have gaps in the race-by-race breakdown. Races that have not yet taken place will not appear in the chart.
