How It Works
Drag and drop your PDF or click to browse. It is processed entirely in your browser — never uploaded.
Extract pages by range, split every page into separate PDFs, or rotate pages 90°/180°/270°.
Get a single new PDF, or a ZIP of every page when splitting the whole document.
Three Ways to Split a PDF
Extract pages builds one new PDF from the pages you choose — ideal for pulling a chapter, a signed page, or a single form out of a larger document. Enter ranges like 1-3, 5, 7-9.
Split every page turns an N-page PDF into N single-page PDFs, delivered as a ZIP — handy when every page needs to be its own file (e.g. separating scanned receipts).
Rotate pages fixes sideways or upside-down scans by rotating 90°, 180°, or 270°, either across the whole document or just the pages you specify.
Private by Design
Every operation runs locally with the pdf-lib library — your PDF is read, modified, and re-saved entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server, which makes this safe for contracts, financial statements, and other sensitive documents. It also means the tool keeps working offline once the page has loaded.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I extract specific pages from a PDF?
Choose the "Extract pages" mode and enter the pages you want using the range box — for example 1-3, 5, 7-9. The tool builds a new PDF containing exactly those pages, in order, which you can download. Your original file is untouched.
What is the difference between "Extract pages" and "Split every page"?
Extract pages produces one new PDF containing the pages you specify. Split every page breaks the document into one PDF per page and packages them all into a ZIP — useful when you need each page as its own file.
What page-range syntax does it accept?
Use commas to separate parts and hyphens for ranges. For example, 1-3, 5, 7-9 selects pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, and 9. Pages outside the document are ignored, and the output keeps them in ascending order.
Can I rotate pages in a PDF?
Yes. Choose the "Rotate pages" mode, pick the rotation (90°, 180°, or 270°), and optionally limit it to specific pages. The tool applies the rotation and gives you a new PDF to download.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. All splitting, extracting, and rotating happens in your browser using the pdf-lib library. Your file never leaves your device, so it is safe to use with confidential or sensitive documents.
Is there a page or file limit?
There is no hard page limit — the tool processes documents locally, so performance depends on your device. Very large PDFs simply take a little longer since each page is handled in the browser.
