What is RefreshFlow?

How do I install RefreshFlow?
Search for "RefreshFlow Auto Tab Refresh" in the Chrome Web Store, click "Add to Chrome", then click the extension icon in your toolbar to open the popup. Set your interval, click Start Refresh, and you are done.
Does RefreshFlow work on all websites?
RefreshFlow works on all HTTP and HTTPS pages. It automatically skips chrome://, file://, and extension pages which cannot be accessed by extensions for security reasons.
What is Smart Pause?
Smart Pause automatically holds the refresh timer when it detects user activity: typing in a form, playing a video, or streaming audio. If you start typing, the page will not reload for 5 seconds after your last keystroke, preventing accidental data loss.
Can I refresh all tabs at once?
Yes. Click the Refresh All Tabs button in the popup header to start auto-refresh on every open tab in the current window. Tabs that already have refresh running are skipped to prevent conflicts.
What is DOM Change Monitor?
DOM Change Monitor watches a specific CSS selector or keyword on a page. When the content changes (e.g., a score updates or a status flips), RefreshFlow fires a desktop notification immediately, without waiting for the next timer cycle.
What is URL Cycling?
URL Cycling lets you provide a list of URLs. Instead of reloading the same page, RefreshFlow navigates through each URL in the list on every cycle — useful for rotating dashboards or monitoring multiple pages automatically.
Is my data private?
Yes. RefreshFlow stores all settings locally in your browser using Chrome Storage. No data is sent to any external server. The extension does not track, collect, or share any personal information.

Why RefreshFlow over other tab refresh extensions?

Most auto-refresh extensions are outdated Manifest v2 extensions that Chrome is phasing out. RefreshFlow is built on Manifest v3 — the current Chrome extension standard — which means it is faster, more secure, and will keep working after Chrome ends MV2 support.

Unlike basic auto-refreshers, RefreshFlow includes Smart Pause so your form data is never lost when you are actively using the page, DOM Change Monitor for instant change alerts, and URL Cycling for rotating through multiple pages hands-free.
